We are so excited to be introducing DigestaBoneⓇ to our Firefly community! DigestaBoneⓇ is an all-natural, safe and durable dog chew that has been over 8 years in development. It’s available in two yummy flavors, Organic Chicken and Whitefish (chicken-free) and two sizes, Petite and Grande. As always, our treats are made with pristine, wholesome, sustainably sourced (mostly from indigenous farmers and herders), organic and “beyond organic” ingredients, and DigestaBoneⓇ is packed with collagen and amino acids.
Our research has shown that many dog chews on the market, like rawhide or hard cheese chews, may pose a safety risk. They can create obstructions that don’t disintegrate or produce shards that may cause internal damage. We wanted to create a chew treat your best friend that is safe and delicious while promoting healthy digestion and providing support for healthy skin, coat and joints.
Please share with us again what inspired the creation and name of Chews Happiness?
As a Corporate Refugee who spent over two decades in Corporate America, I wanted to start a business and social enterprise that was going to do a bit of good for people and the planet. When my wife, Meeta, and I got our precious dog, Bouncer, we realized that BIG Pet Companies offer extremely limited healthy, eco-friendly products. So, Chews Happiness was born!
Our products are handcrafted in Bhutan, a tiny country high up in the Himalayas. As the only carbon-negative country on the planet, we were impressed with how they were trying to develop in a holistic manner. Bhutan developed the concept of focusing on Gross National Happiness (GNH) just as much, if not more so, than Gross Domestic Product (GDP). As our enterprise is all about bringing Happiness to you, your pet, and the planet, we decided to work with the Happiness theme and remind people that they and their pets can indeed choose Happiness!

Chews Happiness is a social enterprise and business bringing wholesome, eco-friendly, sustainably sourced, beyond organic, safe, handcrafted creations to America’s dogs. We have a Top 20 ranking by the Pet Sustainability Coalition. As a zero-carbon business, we use plastic-free plant-based packaging while supporting indigenous herders and small farmers in developing countries. We also give 1% For the Planet and a minimum of 1% to animal rescue.
Our mission is to spread happiness to you, your pet, our global neighbors and the planet. By taking a holistic approach to business and the world, our goal is to create a never Happiness Cycle for pets, people, and the planet.
