What is Firefly Handmade?

Founded in Boulder in 2010, Firefly Handmade began as an effort to support and grow the emerging maker movement. Now in its 16th year, Firefly has become a community staple in Boulder and Denver, recognized as one of Colorado’s premier artisan markets.

Firefly Handmade’s mission is to cultivate a passionate community of artisans and craft, art and design lovers, rooted in creativity, quality, and individuality. We provide opportunities for new and returning handmade businesses to share their passion, stories and processes, and connect with warm and supportive shoppers.

Firefly Handmade features a wide variety of skilled artisans offering high-quality handmade goods, including original art, jewelry, ceramics, textiles, home goods, body care, paper goods, and more. Every artisan is carefully selected to ensure originality, craftsmanship, and a diverse mix of styles and mediums.

How much does it cost to attend?

Admission is FREE! 

How many artisans will be at the event?

Firefly Handmade marketplaces typically feature 80-100 artisans, depending on the event and location, offering plenty to explore and discover.

Can I bring my kids?

Yes! Firefly Handmade is family-friendly and welcomes shoppers of all ages.

Can I bring my pets?

Events in Denver are pet-friendly, but Boulder events are held at the Pearl Street Mall, which does not allow pets of any kind. Please plan accordingly.

Will there be food and drink available?

Yes! Food and drink options are available nearby, and in many cases on-site, depending on the location. Firefly Handmade events are often surrounded by great local restaurants, cafés, and bars.

Is there parking available?

Yes.
