About
Hi! I'm April, the artist behind Starry Eyed Print Co. While I spend a lot of my time creating art, you can often find me reading a fantasy book, exploring new trails, or dancing at an EDM show. My art is heavily inspired by all of this - from our relationship with the natural world, to the unexplainable, the mystical, and the whimsical.
I started printmaking in 2023 when I decided it was time to pick up a new hobby. Little did I know, I would soon become obsessed with it. I have been drawing for as long as I can remember, and printmaking offered new life to my art. Starry Eyed Print Co started out as April's Printed Garden, changing at the end of 2025. When I first started this journey I had just gotten back into gardening which was reflected in much of my early works. After quitting my job to create full time, my art began to change. Starry Eyed, as it is now, has resulted from my love for nature, exploration, creativity, and the whimsical (and sometimes darker) sides of life. Each of my prints is hand-carved into linoleum blocks and hand-pressed by me. After printing, I often include finishing touches with watercolors and gold paint. My art is always growing and changing - I love experimenting with different paper types, upcycle projects, and styles!
