About
What can Colorado do for whiskey? That’s the question Branch & Barrel exists to answer. This isn’t a distillery that could be replicated anywhere else—it’s built on land ownership, long-standing grain relationships, and families with deep roots in the region.
During our experimental days in the late 2000s, the vision was a spirit that represented our state’s terroir as purely as possible. Local grains, well water, and hand-built distilling equipment combined to produce the base, while charred tree branch trimmings from the owners’ own yards offered an authentically ‘Colorado’ aging process.
When we opened our distillery doors in late 2015, it was time to begin aging in barrels, but we never abandoned our initial inspiration. To this day, 100% of our whiskey is made from scratch at our Centennial facility, using exclusively local grains and pure Rocky Mountain snowmelt water from the Arapahoe aquifer.
Through the years, we have become known for exceptional, award-winning Colorado style bourbon and whiskey, adventurous and experimental spirits that defy categorization, and some of the South Metro’s best cocktails at our acclaimed tasting room bar.
