About
As a lifelong rambler through the dirt roads and paths of the American West, I am at my best when I feel entirely insignificant in the vastness of the sacred, awe-inspiring outdoors. My work attempts to capture the emotional impact of rugged mountain sunshine and red clay canyons, bringing that bold and joyful spirit of wild spaces directly to you. Guided by an adventurous spirit, my journey hasn't been a linear one—despite holding a Fine Arts degree, I spent years as a corporate executive building teams for diverse startups, including an asteroid mining company. Yet, no matter where my career led, I always kept a paintbrush in hand. Today, as an avid outdoor enthusiast and Colorado local, I am grateful to call Silverthorne my home. Sitting at 9,000 feet at the base of the Gore Range, I spend much of the year steeping my soul in nature—camping in my Airstream, Archie, and navigating back roads in my 4Runner, Tank, alongside my husband and our 16-year-old rescue dog, LadyBug.
In my life and my art, color has always saturated everything. I’m enamored by anything bright and unapologetically bold, seeing color first and form second whenever I look at a vista. Whether I'm marveling at the neon pop of moss on a tree trunk or hunting for the hidden purples and electric blues in a winter snowbank, I take sketches, photos, and memories from the wild and dial up the intensity to capture the pure joy of the moment. I bring that same vibrant energy from my trailside attire straight to the canvas so you can bring it into your own home. Let me invite you to share in this journey with me, so we can celebrate and enjoy a world of beautiful, colorful spaces together.
