Our story is one of grit and determination, fueled by a deep-rooted love for the great outdoors and a passion for hands-on craftsmanship. Rewinding back to our college days, we discovered our true calling while screen-printing gig posters for bands, burning the midnight oil in a cramped dorm room to blend graphic design with physical ink and screen. From those late-night sessions to rugged backpacking adventures through the untamed landscapes of the Rocky Mountains, every experience has inspired our vision. We take tangible aspects of life—whether a rising band or a moment of solitude in the desolate wilderness—and bring that feeling to life in a graphic representation. Today, Black Lantern stands as a testament to those humble beginnings, evolving from poster prints to a full collection of nature-themed t-shirts and outdoor gear designed for the dreamers, hikers, and adventurers who share our love for wild places.
At Black Lantern, we take immense pride in maintaining a gritty, hands-on approach to every step of the creation process. Everything is crafted in-house by our dedicated crew at our Longmont, Colorado warehouse, where we work tirelessly on manual presses covered in ink.
