Envision this realistic scenario; you are about to indulge in one of your amazing decadent delicacies only to be confronted with your doggie’s staring at you... Obviously, the doggie is thinking “what do I get???” You find yourself stopped in your tracks... You stop mid-munch, feeling forlorn because you do not know how to best share indulgence with your furry family member...  Well, with our Barkarons, now you know!

Think about them as super healthy gift boxes of “chocolates” for dogs. Of course, dogs cannot eat chocolate.  However, they CAN understand when you gift them something special! These unique, super healthy, decadent, eco-friendly, French Macarons for dogs are handcrafted from pristine, wholesome, all-natural, and beyond organic ingredients, promoting immune health, skin & joint health, skin & coat health, and digestive wellbeing.

One of your key ingredients is camel cheese. Can you tell us more about it?
One of our super special flavors is camel cheese from the Gobi Desert. Not only is camel cheese, a Central Asian delicacy, super healthy and loaded with antioxidants, but also it is like chocolate for dogs! They absolutely go CRAZY for it.

By purchasing camel cheese we are helping to support a group of camel herders in the Gobi Desert. As you may know, the Gobi Desert has experienced more frequent and harsher droughts. This has forced many nomadic peoples to cluster into the one major city in Mongolia: Ulaanbaatar, which now has so many people that it can’t provide them all with heat and shelter.

By enabling them to live traditional lifestyles out in the desert, we are providing them with the opportunity to live a lower carbon footprint lifestyle, while saving their camel herds from certain slaughter.

How do you support sustainability?
Our creations are eco-friendly, wholesome, indulgent, and support indigenous lifestyles. Our packaging is approved by the United States Department of Agriculture's (USDA's) BioPreferred® program. Through the program, our paper-based Barkaron Decadent Doggie Desserts packaging is a USDA Certified Biobased package and contains 99% USDA certified biobased content. This means our packaging is plant-based, with NO PLASTIC.

What do you do to support the community?
Not only do we offset the carbon we do generate, but we also GIVE BACK; we donate a minimum of 1% of revenue to an amazing animal rescue in Bhutan. We also give another 1% to For The Planet! We also support small farmers, beekeeper and women’s cooperatives, small dairy farmers, and yak herders in Bhutan.
