Hi from Kyla, aka the Pearl Scout!
Growing up in Colorado with a BFA in ceramics and painting, my lifelong love for treasures was sparked by my grandmother, who gifted me my very first pearl in a tiny black jar. That spark, combined with years spent working on Boulder's Pearl Street and my fond memories as a Girl Scout named "Scout," naturally led to the birth of the Pearl Scout. After earning my Graduate Gemologist degree from the Gemological Institute of America in 2023, I turned a decade of jewelry industry experience into a dedicated hunt for vintage gems.
Today, I live outside Denver with my family, applying my training to authenticate gemstones, spot craftsmanship, and uncover timeless pieces. My gemological background ensures that every curated item is genuine, historic, and built to last.
