Tomomi Nakamura, founder and CEO, moved to Colorado from Yamaguchi, Japan in her early 20’s, searching for new adventures and opportunities. In her early years here, she was very homesick and cooking the foods she grew up eating in Japan brought comfort, a sense of home, and slowly helped her embrace her new home here. Ultimately, Tomomi created small batch seasonings and specialty foods that combine Japan’s culinary depth with the untamed spirit of Colorado’s wilderness, sharing a taste of Japanese umami, blending authenticity with local taste.
