Robot Haiku is the work of Denver artist Dave Pendleton, a series of hand-printed pieces on small wooden boxes imagined through the eyes of a quiet robot fashioned from discarded materials. Guided by the spirit of written haiku and the Japanese aesthetic of wabi-sabi, each piece finds beauty in simplicity and natural things, and is designed to stand alone or combine with others into an ever-evolving personal series.
