Brent Bishop is a Nederland-based painter who grew up in the American South and was drawn west by the landscapes and creative culture of Colorado and New Mexico, where he has rooted himself ever since. A CU Boulder BFA graduate, his contemporary landscape work blends precise detail with gestural intuition to transform familiar scenes into something surreal.
