Arturo Garcia is a Denver-based painter whose bold, palette knife-applied oils blend figuration and abstraction in a style rooted in Fauvism and Impressionism, brought to life through fierce layering of warm and cool colors. His work, driven by a deep love of wildlife, has been exhibited at the Denver Art Museum, CU Boulder, and galleries across the Southwest, and earned him a 2018 residency at Chateau de la Napoule in France.
