Amanda Carestio is a Golden-based designer and maker who has been sewing since high school, bringing a career as a sewing magazine editor and a stint in slow fashion together into a practice focused on interesting basics and wearable silhouettes in natural fibers. She makes everything by hand in her studio, working with hand-dyed fabrics, imported handwoven ikats, and unique upcycled textiles.
