New Baby & Lots of Fun = Creation of Sheady Baby and Co., Summer Market New & Featured Artis

These are oh-so-awesome graphic tees and accessories for babies, kids, moms, dads, and some home goods too...well, of course...why not??!! You'll love 'em, and the story behind them by Mama Shea!

FF: How did you begin your handmade journey?

SB&Co: After having my son, my husband and I kept thinking up graphic tees based on this new life of parenthood. It was all in good fun and joking. The ideas kept coming though and I had found myself buying more and more clothes for the new babe through handmade small shops on Instagram. In January 2015 we decided to open up our own handmade small graphic tee company.

FF: What lead you to your current line of goods?

SB&Co: Having my son and being a mother is what has inspired our graphic tee line. Our wood accessories came about after designing our sons nursery. A collaboration of ideas between Pinterest and our nursery theme we first came up with the Teton shelf, later the animal heads, and teethers.

FF: What materials do you work with & why?

SB&Co: We work with some of the best wholesale companies to get the best price and best products for our tees. Our wood we use anything from scrap wood to save and not waste to the best hard woods we can find for our SheadyBaby teethers.

FF: Inspiration comes from where?

SB&Co: Our inspiration comes from everywhere. We have a team of 30 moms and kids who rep our clothing on social media and often I find inspiration in their pictures or they sometimes come to me with an idea. We also find inspiration in our everyday lives through this journey of parenthood! And, as you can see, we find inspiration from the places we have lived and called home!

FF: What excites you for the future?

SB&Co: What excites me about the future is new designs! I love nothing more than sharing a new design with the SheadyBaby team and watching it come to life!! Speaking of new designs. We are hoping to sneak peak some of the fall winter 2016 line at Firefly in July!! (Well, we would just LOVE that!--Great audience for a new line intro!)

FF: Any advice for makers and biz entrepreneurs new to our creative community?

SB&Co: Be sure you're ready for a big commitment! While I love what I do and it is so rewarding to hear how someone loves the product they have bought. This also comes with its fair share of long nights, stress, and asking the whole family (even the in-laws) to help out!

Shop and visit with Sheady Baby and Co. at Firefly Handmade Summer Market, July 23-24, 10am-4pm, Twenty Ninth Street shopping district , 1710 29th St. (between Canyon & Walnut), Boulder, CO.
