Bigger Venue, Bigger Opportunities!

Balch Fieldhouse is a larger venue than we have been able to offer for previous Holiday Markets, and affords us the opportunity to not only accommodate more returning Firefly artisans, but also first-time Firefly applicants who may not have had the opportunity to participate in the past due to space constraints. In short, we are now able to meet the demand to accept more artisans while still curating an event that represents the best of handmade.

 

Special Offer For Select 2019 Artisans:

In appreciation of your loyalty to our markets during 2019, as well as the great patience you have shown as we worked to announce this venue and Holiday Market dates, we are excited to offer select applicants the following thank you:

If you have participated in at least two (2) 2019 Firefly Markets, you will be automatically accepted for Holiday Market upon our receipt of the following 3 items from you, no later than September 27:

1. Completed Application

2. $25 Application Fee

3. Participation Fee payment

 

All Other Returning & New Firefly Applicants: 

  • Apply & submit $25 Application Fee by Oct. 4

  • Jurying will take place Oct. 5 -11

  • Artisan notices will be sent Oct.12

application guidelines:

APPLICATION FEE: $25 Due at the time of application and should be remitted via Paypal Button at bottom left of this page to fireflyhandmade@gmail.com.  

PARTICIPATION FEES/BOOTH SIZES: 

  • 10' x 10': $450

  • 10' deep x 20' wide: $900

  • $25 fee electricity access (limited quantity)

No tents, tent structures, awnings, canopies or umbrellas are permitted.

As a condition of participation, all accepted artisans will be required to sign a Participation Agreement and Artisan Handbook, and provide mandatory Certificate of Insurance.

APPLICATIONS ARE ACCEPTED FROM:

  • US artisans who produce handmade goods

                   -AND-

  • US-based artisans who sell high quality, handmade, ethically sourced, and fair trade items from outside of the US​

  • We do not accept vendors with strictly fine art, vintage or antique items, or Cottage Industry food artisans

  • Booth sharing is not permitted

WHAT WE LOOK FOR:

  • Product craftsmanship and creativity

  • Creative representation of your product and brand

  • Professional and creative booth presentation / merchandising / signage

  • Web presence is a plus, but not mandatory

  • Professional quality photos - full size images, not thumbnails

  • Booth image is mandatory (mock booth set-up is acceptable)

  • We are not looking for exclusively fine art, vintage or antique items

  • Handmade goods only
